The transformation of our members doesn’t end after ten weeks. In fact, our members are encouraged to join our Farrell’s Infinite Transformation® (FIT) program, which offers additional FIT challenges and plenty of fun. Recently, FXB Denver held a friendly competition in order to motivate and encourage any member that was interested.
Our most recent challenge had participants form 2-person teams. One objective of the challenge was to encourage attendance at workouts, thus creating consistency in working out, a key success factor in any fitness program. The other objective was to build strong ab muscles as the challenge centered around daily, challenging ab exercises. The team aspect created accountability between team members.
A total of 21 teams participated in the challenge. Teams were required to achieve an 85% attendance rate during the 5-Week challenge. Eighteen teams achieved at least 85% attendance, with 10 teams achieving perfect attendance the entire 5 weeks. Everyone participating has commented on how much stronger their core strength is after the challenge.
As a group, they pushed each other during workouts and supported one another outside the gym. Everyone worked hard and also bonded over the achievement of "surviving" some of the extreme ab workouts.
